My name is Claudia Tuffigo, gemologist and jeweler of « Madame Pamplemousse ».
Throughout my life, I have been surrounded by people who have been a great source of inspiration, people who have instilled in me love and respect for crafts.
I was lucky enough to live in countries rich in history and art, which certainly influenced my creations today.
I studied jewelry in one of the oldest schools of jewelry in Italy, the «Accademia delle Arti Orafe» and in France, at the «Haute Ecole de Joaillerie de Paris»
I also studied gemmology at the Gemmological Intitute of America in Thailand. I am passionate about the idea of travelling, learning about new cultures, sourcing stones and creating unique pieces. Indeed, my many travels and meetings are my great source of inspiration.
Living in Asia was very rewarding for me: I learned new techniques that I put into practice daily in my creations.
So it was in Asia, in the middle of the tropical climate, that « Madame pamplemousse » was conceived and dreamed of. But it was finally in Paris, a jeweller’s centre that the brand was officially launched.
